Healthcare Across Borders is an unapologetic initiative to ensure everyone has access to the care they need. In 2022 and 2023, HCAB worked with medical professionals and diverse organizations across the country to pass shield laws in several states, including California, Colorado, New York, Vermont, and Washington, helping spur a dramatic expansion in access to care throughout the country, irrespective of zip code.
But we won't stop there. In the next several months we will be unveiling ambitious initiatives to protect and expand access to essential reproductive, sexual, and gender-affirming care.
